Book baskets

Many of the children have expressed that they would like to make book baskets at home. You can get these baskets at the Dollar Store. Let your child fill the

basket with some of their favorite books and ask them to show you how they do Read to Self and Read to Someone. You will want to ask them what was your favorite part and why was it your favorite part. Asking these questions and other questions about the story will help your child with comprehension.
