Today at science centers we dug in dirt,compared and sorted seeds, planted a flower and ate vegetables. We had a lot of fun learning how things grow.

The children learned about disabilities through a play given by some of our eighth grade students.

Book buddies

Congrats and good work Gino Duncan player of the week! Fifteen minutes a day makes a big difference.

Kindergarten reader

We had a guest reader today. One of our own students who has been working very hard at school and at home on reading- Marisa. If your child has a book at home they are reading fluently ( they can read easily) have them bring it in and we will schedule a time for them to read to the class. They will have to read it to me first before they read to the class.

What's New in April

Spring is finally here and it is a great time to discuss new growth in God's world. We will be reading and writing about what we observe.  In Religion we will continue to fill our Lenten symbols bag and celebrate Easter. Special Person's Day is April 24th. More information will be coming about this special event.  In Math we will be working on story problems, addition and subtraction. In Language Arts the children  are reading and writing at their level.
